How much they have increased for the 150 GB @ 4 mbps plan?
I received the SMS. It has been increased from Rs. 2099 /- to Rs.2250/-.

i am considering switching back to the 2mbps plan coz i see no point of the 4mbps plan with 150GB remaining the limit.

7% hike of 1299 is rs 90.So they are making more profit by hiking to rs 150.

No, the hike of Rs. 150 /- is for the Turbo 150 Rs.2099/- plan.
The thread starter had his Rs. 899/- plan hiked to Rs. 950/-
You might have an increase of Rs. 100 /- on your Rs, 1299/- plan. Not sure. You will get an SMS.

I applied for disconnection of Airtel Fixed Line and Broadband today after getting the same SMS, but got a call from the Airtel customer care saying I am eligible for retention plan with Rs499 per month (Rs550 after the revision) and 2MBps 5GB FUP.This plan is not listed anywhere on their site. Is this a new cheating plan ?

not really. they have some special plans that are offered to customers who apply for disconnection.

^Ask them to send you the details of the retention plan via email. Else, they'll only let you be on the retention plan for a month or two.

yeap. only confirm it once you have it in writing in mail or in print. otherwise they would change your plan to something stupid and blame you for all the mess.
