Hi, i recently got bridge mode enabled on my connection but now I have noticed something that my ip is in the range of CG-NAT ip Addresses. I don't remember my ip address before requesting for bridge, did they change my ip after enabling bridge? Is it possible that they can change ip address if someone request for bridge without getting static IP.

You can request customer care and hope the person actually understands what you want. Try your luck with 3-4 times with different executives. Ultimately, get a static IP.

@akshay71 thanks for the reply mate, I have no problem with it. My ping is good, i game on PS5 and and I am getting type 2 nat, which is really good and the online gaming is great too. I just noticed it that my ip was behind CG-NAT and wanted to ask questions about it.

Bridge mode and CGNAT are two independent things. You did not get CGNAT (Private IP) because you enabled Bridge Mode.

Airtel is changing to CGNAT in a phase wise manner all over the places. So yours' just coincided with your request to enable Bridge.

@rohitks thanks for clearing the doubt, that was my actual question. It was already behind CG-NAT, because i checked all the neighbourhood airtel connections and everyone was behind CG-NAT.
