How do I check which NAT I am using on airtel static IP?
Is here a way to check?
I am using airtel's default ONT model no AOT5221ZY.
I do not play games on PC at all.

Both Wifi and LAN shows
NAT type: Port Restricted Cone

Is it good, cause I dont know.
But I manually open some port including a local proxy from airtel's connection and all of those ports are working fine.

@Vickey007 Restricted Cone means that you do not have a static ip.

If port forwarding is working for you, then you do not need a static ip. I bought it as I was facing issues with multiplayer games.

Though I do have a Static IP from Airtel from last July. And my port forwarding working fine as well.

Hi @akgunplay may I check your new device XC220-G3v v2.0 is on bridge mode now?

I am having hard time with Airtel to enable bridge mode. After a weeks call and emails Airtel engineer call me and showed hesitation to turn on bridge mode stating it won’t work, CGNAT, require static IP etc. I read multiple threads in this forum and understood static IP is not required for bridge mode.

Finally the onsite engineer along with some backend engineer said he has enabled bridge mode, but my Internet is not working with configuring the PPPOE credentials on my TP-Link router. Alternatively I tried dial in setup on my Windows laptop still it didn’t work and the error 651 encountered. I don’t know the next steps. My internet is down for 5 days

I want to achieve - managing of IP address reservation, Parental control, URL blocking etc using my TP Link Deco BE85 router along with a 3rd party firewall.

Because of current Airtel setup and network configuration I am unable to achieve any of above.

Kindly suggest if I change the Titanium 2122A T21 Pro router with simple ONT router or with the one you have to achieve above requirement

Also I am looking at flashing or unlocking the Airtel router to setup the bridge myself or to scrap the Airtel T21Pro GX router.

Please advise friends.

You do not need bridge mode. You can simply enter your GPON serial number and dial the pppoe settings from your old titanium router in any gpon router like xc220-g3v. This will eliminate the need to use the titanium router. You can then use all the features of the said TP-Link router.
