@gayad your IP settings are tied to the OLT itself with the inner VLAN. You have all the info with you as per @akshay71. So, just wait for the G3 to arrive to your premise and then configure it as per instructions.
You can still use your PPPoE settings in order to get Dynamically allocated Public IP from the OLT, if you want to.

@IfranAli my man, exactly what I was looking for.
G3 arriving tomorrow but, I will wait for Airtel to get my Nokia working I dont want it offline in case they're pushing configs.

Been offline since Tuesday and I now realise talking to backend for any tweak can be a huge pita.
My contract is fully remote and work is suffering but apparently its too much of a rocket science for airtel despite escalations in 4 working days.
Maybe they are the least worst of the bunch.
BSNL customer care hung up 2/3 times.

I generally have no expectations or trust from people of my race, but at this point I've realised best way out is to just bear some & move on for the long term.

Btw guys, I had this confusion and thought I'd get some facts from here.
Whats the actual Bridge Mode config like?

So in Airtel Nokia, there is
- Network - Lan - Route/Bridge
Settings is unlocked at user side.
- Network - Wan - Connection Mode - Route/Bridge - Lan Binding
Setting is locked and NOC can change this
I "had" 3 WAN settings.
PPPoE Disabled, Voip Enabled and IPoE Enabled with my Static IP.

Whats the actual bridge mode config? Via WAN?
Whats the technical difference if a user does it via LAN with WAN being on Route?

Btw, on a call with NOC on Tue when I asked him to put all 4 ports on Bridge he said you need 4 Static IPs for that, since you have one, Ill put Lan4.
And he put Network - Lan - Lan4Bridge with.. WAN IPoE still on Route. 🤔

@akshay71 I have the V2 arrived.
They sent a V2 instead of V1 mistakingly.
Monday I can get a G3V1.
Do think I should go forward with the G3v2 for Airtel?
Firmware and all is good?

You still haven't received your ONU. Only comment when you have ONU IN YOUR HAND.

You are seriously being disrespectful and wasting everyone's time.

@akshay71 No need to be rude here.
I clearly wrote I have a local shop getting one for me.
It was supposed to be v1 but distributor mistakingly sent a v2.
The local shop can send it back and get me a v1 on Monday.
Which is why I asked what exactly is difference between both versions so I might as well keep v2.

How is getting one in my hand first making any sense here?
There are no refunds. Are you slow or drunk?
If you dont want to help, dont comment dude.

There has only been unclear answers, half baked & contradicting opinions by you.
If you aren't sure just say I dont know. Simple.
Or only participate in a closed off nerd circle if sharing intel bothers you
Some say V2 works, with no port issues and good speeds.
Another member in a post confirms and says "get over v1 no need to spread confusion".
You in your own messages tell to avoid v2 and only get v1.
Yet in another messages you recommend getting any v1 and v2. Go throught it yourself.
Thats why I asked to make an informed decision, this is not my field of expertise and I dont want to have another dud like the g7.

I see you blocked me on TG for simply asking if I should take home the v2, or reorder a v1 because a member recommended I talked to you.

I feel you have deeper issues and frustrations in life if small things like this can trigger you for some reason.
I'd suggest do yourself a favor & just dont interact hereon.
Ifran, Anmol and all have been plenty helpful.
Relax, grab a can & keep swiping.

I will let the images do the talking

People are really here to help you. But that doesn't mean you troll them with lies.

The V2 indeed arrived, instead if V1 and I went to the shop and told him I'll get back in a couple hours and tell you if I'll take the V2 or you get the v1.
He said he has his guy sitting right at distributor, no sweat he'll be ordering v1 anyway.

That was when I posted my question here without taking the v2 home with me, which I had posted a day before as well, and you DMed me to speak on Telegram, post which you blocked for assuming whatever, maybe because you are way to busy and read between the lines and assume stuff.

Wheres the lie? I mentioned I have my local guy getting it.
Why do you feel I need to "lie" to some anon on the internet?
Really, this triggered you?
Lets assume V2 instead of V1 arrived at my doorstep, and I'd want to get V1, and ask here, for which you DM me to talk on Telegram, what really triggered you with my question of "What are technical difference between both"?
You really are onto something with that paranoia mate.
You assumed, took a call, good. I think we're done here.
Not interested in hearing from you again. Good luck!

Hi all, a little update in my story.
After what I shared in message #105, in essence I told em to ditch the Bridge Mode to avoid further complications and set it up as usual.
The TL came home today and he talked to the NOC and setup Bridge Mode. I wanted to avoid complications so didn't demand "No-Bridge"
The internet works on Lan4. However, in WAN, I see unconfigured profiles.
PPPoE doesnt have my username/pass configured. VOIP as well. And there is no IPoE static IP Profile.
However, the internet works via Static IP deets on Internet Adapter on PC as well as AX12.

I have some doubts that I'll share in the next message.
