Airtel Static IP - Setup Guidance

I purchased and setup the G3v2.
Ifran has been helping a lot in getting the G3v2 up and running.
We updated the G3v2 to the latest 2024 firmware from the Ukraine website.

Now that I had internet back, I put my GponSN (ALCL in Hex and rest as it is in 16Hex field).
Shows O5 Status.
However, the VLAN Scan fails everytime, no matter which mode I am on.
I also tried Transparent + 100 VLan Tag in AX12, and VLan Tag 100 in G3 + IPTV/Vlan disabled in AX12, no luck.
It's confirmed by TL my area has ALCL OLT.

Can this be because of the Bridge Mode from the backend?
Can this be because of no profiles setup bu NOC in Nokia WAN that VLAN Scan fails to read?
Idk if those profiles are just on router or tied at backend as well.
I am out of tricks at this point, can't understand the reasons of failure.

For the sake of experimentation I wanted to test the G3v2, just want to make sure if its a fault outside of V2 scope.
If all else fails, I have an arrangement with the local shop for a barter.

Try contacting the LCO if bridge needs to be enabled from the backend?

Hi @Aashish.007 . The Bridge is enabled and the internet works, currently with my AX12 I am online.
However, before the bridge I had 3 profiles in WAN on my Nokia G2425G.
1. PPPoE - Disabled
2. Voip - Enabled
3. IPoE - Enabled with my Static IP details.

Today after the did the Bridge mode, there are unconfigured profiles of PPPoE and VOIP and No profile of IPoE.
But the internet works if I put my static ip details in Ethernet Adapter or in my AX12 connected to Lan4.

G3V2 VLAN Scan doesn't work, and I am just thinking why.
Is Bridge mode the issue?
Are the profiles which aren't setup the issue? The VLAN Scan isn't taking that info from the backend?
As I saw VLAN Scan shows PPPoE and the VLAN from some user screenshots who also had Static IP.
Out of ideas at this point.

So .. I got the G3v1 as well, because I've realised I can't depend on hearsay here.
Full collection now, G3 v1v2 & G7.
Both on Stock and Brazil Firmware, the Vlan Scan fails. Control by OLT/Transparent. Atleast 30 mins each settle in time. Then scan.
I have now trickled it down to the Bridge Mode from the backend.
My Team Lead is a very nice chap, he doesn't use whatsapp so the messages weren't going through earlier.
I personally went to the Airtel Office and had a coffee, sat down, and he'll emailed a request for default config of 3 WAN profiles on my Static IP setup along with an older firmware on Nokia.
Now I have my fingers crossed, to test both the G3 v1 & v2 for a conclusion.
Otherwise, we move on with our life & get some real work done.

Do whatever you want... nothing will work when your ONU is connected to ALCL OLT unless you follow the below:->

Put back your Nokia gateway, login to it and note down
GPON SN:
PLOAM Password:
OMCI Vendor ID: ALCL
OMCI software version 1:
OMCI software version 2:
OMCC version: 0x80
Traffic Managament option: 2
CWMP Product Class:

Save them as a txt file on your desktop. Especially Vendor ID and both software versions are important.

Connect G3 V1 ONU and follow the below guide to get access to OMCI settings page and enter all the Nokia values there

Once you have those settings, the VLAN scan will return a value which you can use.

@akshay71 hey, I appreciate that you responded and chipped in.
I am currently searching the forum on how to find these settings in Nokia.
I have it connected to my PCs Wifi adapter since it's in Bridge.

The ones I am missing are PLOAM Password & CWMP
I saw on this github nokia unlock post OMCI soft v1 & 2 are same ie. my routers Soft Version 3TN00391IJLJ07 (1.2402.307)
It's going to be downgraded today by TL.
I'll try and find the PLOAM Pass as well.

Edit: In my current G2425G firmware, I don't have backup to config option as that was removed when 3TN00391IJLJ07 was pushed.

Airtel doesnt use PLOAM. Set it to 0 That is not important setting.
Even CWMP is not important. Stop wasting time on things that don't matter.

You are literally 2 mins away from being up and running.

You require
GPON SN change
Vendor ID change
Set Hardware Version
Set Software versions

Save and it should be able to scan VLAN within few seconds.

Set VLAN in TP-Link manually, and connect using your router. There is literally no other way.

OMCI software version 1 and 2 both can be set to same value if you find only 1 software version
These software versions are on my Airtel provided Nokia. You can use be below values in your TP-Link OMCI page once you manage to access it.
