Not FTP. Firmware updates are automatically done by Airtel remotely through TR-069 (Advanced > CWMP).
My connection was mostly stable before the update, so I cannot comment on the new firmware.

Is anyone aware what chipset Beetel are using in the 777VR1 ? I telneted in and saw a Realtek RTL8672 mentioned in the mostly crippled shell, but it's not a VDSL chipset.

Yesterday Airtel's Line Man did re-jumping at the Sub-Pillar (Road Side Blue Box) and DP. I'm seeing little bit of improvement but still there is frequent disconnection.

SNR is jumping randomly for the downstream and Downstream Line Rate too.

I'm right now using 40 MBPS bandwidth (downloading a file from Seeder) but there is very minor changes in parameters. I am not able to diagnose the reason of disconnection happening.

Right now, Current Line is this way:

Blue Box (Sub Pillar) ----> DP -----> Peach Box (to convert Wire into RJ 11 Jackable Port) ---> RJ 11 to Splitter -----> RJ 11 to Modem and RJ 11 to Landline.

Please let me know the next possible diagnose and testing I should do from my end and tell Airtel Engg. to do on his end?

Also What is this Upstream CRC and Downstream CRC?

Your stats are looking good. Remove the splitter, connect the RJ11 cable from peach box directly to the Huawei and see if that helps.

Also What is this Upstream CRC and Downstream CRC?

Its error check/correction. Your modem is doing what is supposed to do. I still get those in large numbers but the connection is stable.

@manojrk Okay. I will be removing the splitter next morning and connect Peach Box RJ 11 to Modem directly.

P.S.: I am giving 2 days to the current setup so that I can provide enough proof to Airtel Team via. Log. I hope that's not a problem?

I will keep updating the thread for further updates.

Question: Is it possible that the landline (telephone) used in this line can cause disconnection on modem?

I don't see why not. You can always reopen the same complaint if the issue persists.

Is it possible that the landline (telephone) used in this line can cause disconnection on modem?

It's the splitter that Airtel gives is at fault. I don't have any landline at the moment but I did face some issues with the splitter when I used it earlier.

@Adidam I suggest take low rental plan until issue is fixed. Follow up nodal officer. I think line isn't good to handle higher speed

Update 1: Okay. So, I just had Disconnection after long duration (After 24 hours almost).

As @manojrk advised, I have removed the splitter/landline and now it's directly from Peach Box to Modem (Huawei modem) now.

Blue Box (Sub Pillar) ----> DP -----> Peach Box (to convert Wire into RJ 11 Jackable Port) ---> RJ 11 to Modem

Let's see, How stable is this setup is?

Update 2: I am seeing bit of SNR jumping. Upstream SNR is 8 now.

Update 3: I'm seeing disconnection still after removing landline and splitter and connecting RJ 11 directly to modem. What to do now?
