@Adidam Net disconnects 5 times a day. I have asked appellate to provide hauwei modem. They don't have stock in hyderabad. Lets see how it goes. Is your net 100 % up and stable?

@tech_bng No, I might disconnect the connection or move to ADSL 8 MBPS/16MBPS. I have stopped dreaming about good service and high speed from Airtel.

If they are still planning to sell their scam on same telephone lines and not moving to Fiber. I must say we as a customer should give them answer.

Obsolete technology/wiring for premium pricing. Big time for Airtel with enough of their scamming.

Just waiting for Jio to come and then you will see how they would move to full fiber :)

My area's wiring is 13 years old. (exchange to DP)

Wiring they use from DP to Home is like you can't even rely on that to do suicide. (Can cut because of little harsh winds).

Too much of pathetic practice.

Sunil Mittal to his stupid team: Sasta aur tikao maal laker do....jisse aur logo ko pagal bnaya jaye.....akhri kuch mahine bache hai :p

*Jio will f@ck my ass in Broadband/Telecom too*

^ I don't think Jio will be able to bring much to the broadband sector. They are keen on selling data packs and they impose a 100GB limit with 1 Mbps post FUP for Mumbai FTTH users, I'm positive there won't be any unlimited plans from them.

Huawei DSLAM is backwards compatible. You can always roll back to ADSL2+ if Airtel allows.

@manojrk let Jio come and you will see changes in Airtel. :)

I'm not a supporter of Jio but I am hater of Airtel's scams.

can anyone help me with the settings for Airtel V Fiber modem in bangalore? specifically for a bridge mode usage? I have a Netgear R6400 which is my dedicated router. Would like to use the V fiber as just the modem ( bridge mode) so that there is no double NAT issues ( which is creating some issues with remote access)

Today airtel has upgraded firmware on 777vr1 modem. Internet seems stable. No disconnects from 14 hours.

@tech_bng do you happen to have the link for the firmware? I was experiencing line issues throughout the day. Now its stable but not sure how long it will stay that way. would be great if you can share the new firmware.
