Airtel's 512kbps Unlimited Plan

i like to know any of airtel users here migrated to unlimted 512 dsl 1999 plan ? i just contacted customer care and got details that this plan is available in my city and i like to know plan details if any one might know as there is no update on airtel site, any reply will be a great use

now still they didnt onfirmed me they have changed my plan but iam getting download speeds close to 45kbs .. how much does 512 users max will get on downloads ?

512Kbps = 64KB/s, but that is literally, actual speeds can be about 55KB/s. It depends.

A friend of mine called to complain about his 256 kbps Unlimited connection, and they managed to convince him to take the 'Rs. 2000 512 kbps Unlimited' connection - so I guess it does exist. I can confirm in another 4-5 days once they move him to that plan.But I don't think I will go for it. We already get 512kbps at night, and frankly it isn't worth Rs. 2000 per month to get it in the day too. Maximum Rs. 1500, but Rs. 1200 is the optimum price.Hasn't anyone told Airtel that in the telecom world you don't double the price when you double the speed?

lol agreed .. all indian isps r costly and they give crappy plans for such a huge amount .. iam only getting around 48kb on download and still they didnt confirmed that the plan is migrated ... any taughts ..

they should atleast provide a minimum of 80% of promised speed which is 51-52kBps for this 512kbps plan. you can complain regarding this when after you have been officially migrated to this plan.
