Airtel's 512kbps Unlimited Plan

i migrated to this plan about 2 weeks ago.its not that good dl speeds are max 55KBps but better than 256 kbps ul plan

i think they launched this plan on north india also .. one of my freind is on the plan from north india...

that really depends on you doesn't it? if you can afford it and if you download like crazy then the plan will suit you..

cost is not the issue. the point is whether it improves upon browsing speeds. downloads are not a priority. the question is... does it improve regular site browsing. like on this forum?i am supposed to get around 40KBps at this very moment on Airtel. But when i surf the site, i hardly get around 10KBps.

I am on 999 and wouldn't go for this 1999 512kbps plan. It is meaningless. I would go for 1499 1mbps 10GB plan if they announce such a one soon Even 10GB is a constraint, i exceeded 14GB in the first month of subscription !
