Can anyone confirm whether the speed now include both peering and internet or are separate, I am using 80mbps plan, so will I get 80mbps internet+80mbps peeing or total 80mbps?
I tried directly connecting the Ethernet wire from Poe adapter but the connection speed is only 100mbps, I am able to currently get around 85-90mbps

u will only get 80 Mbps . speeds dont combine now like they used to before. so u wont be getting 80+80 = 160 Mbps in torrents. it will just be 80Mbps i.e close to 9-10 MB/sec

The more expensive plans make even less sense now.

For 799, you get 40 mbps.

For 1145, i.e. by paying 43% more, you get 55 mbps i.e. 37.5% more speeds.

For 100% more speed, you have to pay exactly 100% more.

I am going to stick with 40 mbps from next month. Its more than enough anyways

i don't agree with this logic. You're only looking at this on price to transfer rate ratio without considering the amount of speed is being offered.

But, shouldn't more pricey plans offer more speed per rupee?
Rupee per Mbit:
799/40 = Rs. 19.975/Mbit
1145/55 = Rs.20.81/Mbit
1600/80= Rs.20.05/Mbit

Lets compare it to Spectranet:
Rupee per Mbit
1349/50= Rs. 26.98/Mbit
1849/100= Rs..20.81/Mbit

Another comparison to Siti:
573/2= Rs.286.5/Mbit
803/5= Rs.160.7/Mbit
861/10 = Rs. 86.1/Mbit
1148/20= Rs.57.4/Mbit
1953/50= Rs. 39.07/Mbit
3448/100= Rs. 34.48/Mbit

For other ISPs costly plans are cheaper per Mbit. For Excitel, the price per Mbit remains almost same throughout all the plans, with 1145 Plan being a worse value compared to others. The Rupee per Mbit for other ISP decreases substantially for higher plans.

As reported earlier.... their 50Mbps plans are capped @150GB...

and all other plan are no where near Excitel.....

excitel has priced their plans in such a way that there is no motivation to go for a higher speed plan for most users. unless you have many people using the internet simultaneously and you are running out of bandwidth, the 40mbps plan is good enough for most peeps.
