remote is new. has power button along with volume and mute button. from what i have read, it should be compatible with older fire tv stick.

Did anyone buy it, it has no es file explorer or downaloder app?. Also via mobile app mobile to fire TV is not working.

yeah i think a recent update disabled remote apk install. @Nishant might be able to suggest if there is a workaround.

Amazon disabled remote APK installation via ADB so apps like Apps2fire are no longer working. ES File Explorer is able to install apks just fine. It also has a built in downloader which can download files if you click a link from browser.

es file explorer is of course available through the Amazon app store so easily installable.

Kaisai Kya bhi log, I can't can't find it es file explorer, on app page of fire stick 4k, it was there on normal one.

you can always find the app on the computer and push it to the fire tv.
