The new
iPad has heating issues I would suggest you to go for s3 btw happy birthday in advance
There's no heating issue. Yes it's warmer than my OG iPad but nothing which you'll call hot or uncomfortable. Just got mine from HK last week (32 gb wifi for Rs 32k)and tested it with IB2 and RR2 running continously for over 4 hours. Retina display is awesome and once you use it, you won't want to go back to lower dpi screens ever again.
It's not completely flawless though. The screen does have yellow tint issues on one corner. The reason behind it is (supposedly) the glu which is used to keep the digitiser and the screen/glass together. Most people claim that it goes away in a couple of weeks. It seems to be the case with mine too. It looks like its improved in the last 4 days. Still not 100% sure though. If it doesn't fix itself by the time iPad is launched in media officially, I'll get it replaced under warranty. Hopefully I won't need to do that.
The other problem is that it takes almost 6 hours to charge from 0 to 100. Not an issue if you leave it charging over night. But still I wish
Apple had provided a faster charging solution.
The yellow tint issue aside, new iPad is as close to perfection as it could be. Unless you hate apple/iOS for whatever reason, it's THE
tablet worth your money. now I just need to find some good screen guard and case for it. Don't want it to endup like my OG iPad, all banged up from all the corners
