My own phone showed a temperature warning when I initially charged it wirelessly. I have seen it behave the same way as mentioned in the tweet. However, it happened hardly 2-3 times in 1.5 years.

It seems heating issue happens more frequently with 15 Pro models due to slim Titanium casing.

nah all the phones are facing it after ios 17 update those who updated .

My phone is running iOS 17! No issues so far, but (BUT) I charge wirelessly most of the time.

Battery backup has taken a hit though after the update. Battery health is at 89%. So I can't really complain.

mine is on ios 17.0.1 a 9 month old 14 pro and it is heating a lot battery health 100%. charging stopped ystd night due to high temperature

Charging stopped at 80% due to high temperature.
