BAD News for Airtel DTH

Hello everyone,

I asked for channel list of package i bought in the month of Dec last year and the current ULTRA pack being offered by Airtel.
I bought an ULTRA Annual pack and according to airtel i would be given the same channels for the 1yr time period.

Now when i received the channel list to find out which channels they have removed from there platform i was surprised that they are not showing me 17 channels out of 170 that i bought(though none of the channels removed i use to watch).

So i have written an email to [email protected] from where i got these list.
Funny part is CC is not even aware of any such dept.

With the above list that you sent me.
I was able to figure out that out of 170 channels you are not providing me 17 channels at all.

On top of that your I LEARN channel started recently.
I would like to know that what has been given to me as replacement or refund for the above mentioned channel.
If you are not able to provide me refund or replacement then you should migrate me to the Current ULTRA pack at no extra cost.

you should also send a similar email to nodal escalations for the compensations.And mind it they have to pay it.

i did talk to nodal officer he says the iTv services and radio were given free of cost when i asked the iDarshan and iGoodlife they say we have to pay for it. I did not understand who are they trying to fool and with what reason.

i fought with them for more then one hour
all they want is pay up the difference to get into new ultra pack or what ever they are giving enjoy
i told them ur policy to exploit customers are getting exposed. He even admitted that there were some policy wrong like ultra pack was suppose to give all sports channel
but they dont give ten sport due to new ultra pack, in future if they add sports hd to new ultra pack and they increase the new ultra pack price by even Rs.1/- u wont get sports hd.
I guess airtel don't protect it annual package customers.

Just got a call from nodal desk and he was again trying to fool me by saying that its a global issue and channels are temporarily withdrawn...i told him i have paid for the channels and you are not showing me those channels so refund my money for them. He said will call back in a minute want to discuss with his manager....lets see what happens

Yes Delhi Nodal.But you know what they called again and he said i have talked to my manager that the problem is for everyone...on that i said i am not concerned that the problem is for everyone or just for myself....i have paid the money and i want the channels or a refund...on that he said that refund is not possible as the channels were free...so i said tell me where do you mention that the channels were free or paid....on that he was not able to reply...then i asked him to make me talk to his manager...he said will get a call in couple of minutes and since then i am receiving miss call from the same number about 15 of them.

did u talk to them of iTv servicesif they say its free, then in all the package they must provide all the iTv services but instead in lowest pack they give one and in highest pack they give alli think we must start a thread saying all iTv services are free of cost as per the nodal office communication,then all airtel customers will call for all the free iTv services.
