I bought a new sim which comes with a free Unlimited download for a week after activation by Rs 120 recharge. AFter a week, regular free usage of 200mb for a week is applicable as per the plan.

I have a Nokia N91 planning to go for BSNL 3G now as you told that you are getting Free Unlimited download for a week after using FRC 120 on new 3G sim is it applicable with any FRC or only with FRC 120??? If it is applicable with any FRC then recently Calcutta telephones have merged there 2G tariff plan with 3G tariff plan so If i use FRC 56 will i be able to get this same benefit??? The only difference between FRC 120 & FRC 56 is under FRC 56 there is no 200 free MB & no free viceo call min & on net min but If this offer is for new connection than it shouldn't matter what type of FRC I am using to activate this 3G sim. If anyone has any idea on this matter please reply back & as my Handset is UMTS enable with download speed max. 384kbps so Is this the surfing speed or actual download speed I am quite confuse in this matter so any knowledge in this matter will really be a great help to me. If it's actually download speed than surfing speed should be nearly 384*8=3072, 3072/1024=3 ...Nearly 3Mbps....Let me know whether it's surfing or download speed....

but when i took the sim, they didn't charge anything for the sim.. i paid only 120 rupees.. bought it 3 months back...

HI!!After searching on BSNL website I found that now it's not mandatory to recharge with Rs.120 FRC. There are new FRC of denomination 47,52,56,58,105 & 120. With any of this recharge you get 7days of Unlimited Internet 3G access +1000local SMS + 1000 National SMS + 200MB Of Interent credited after 7days of unlimted Internet + 100 min video calling. Sim Card charge remain same i.e Rs.59. I will buy 3G sim 2mrw....

Guys i need some plan help, customer care seems sleeping at this hour I am using 3G for a year now, but i usually re-charge it for Rs.110/ month and get 75 worth talk time and 30 days validity.my validity just expired today and i need to recharge, however now i read that they offer 6 month for Rs.120 can anyone please clarify this, can i recharge online and move to GL plan, or whatever it is called, this is my backup internet.I need max validity, Data Plan top is not required, I am fine with any calling rate, but i hate the idea of Rs.110/- every month.

Wh don't you recharge for Rs 1100 ...this way you save lot if money an get 1 year validity. U get some Rs 1000 talk time

For the plans you have mentioned...check you local bsnl office...they normally receive notifications. Jus walk in here...Connor call CC as they are pretty much useless

i bought a new 3g sim saturday (though I have one already) for the free one weak usage. The sim was free and i mmediately did a FRC of 120GL plan in the bsnl csc. it was activated immediately and after i dialled 123# got a msg saying that i have 200mb usage and 2000 sms free plus 100min local video calls and validity for 6 months. I started using it saturday and till now i have downloaded 16GB because its free unlimited for a week. I am gonna use it till friday 12.am after which i will be entitled to use 200mb for 15 days. hope you understand how to go about it. The sim card was free of cost in my circle so i dounno abt other places. as far as i know, the free one week usage is applicable for FRC data plan 120 GL. (PS the csc also told me that i have to have a min bal of 50 rs to access internet, so i did 120 FRC data followed by a topup of 55 RS, So I now have 70RS of talktime as well). After reading this you shud have no doubts with purchasing the card (hopefully)
