lol. what i meant was that even browsing feels laggy right now. and i was expecting it to get better at night. i really really hope that things are screwed up in the backend. i am not expecting them to give me 4.5-5mbps. but for the love of god, give me 80% of the advertised speeds!lol. i think i made it pretty clear that going for bsnl was my own decision. i only applied for a connection when i had that awesome phone call with an airtel executive. and yes, i would be keeping this connection till november end at least. considering i have already paid for a month in advance which i am sure is not refundable.

well i guess. we can look at the bright side as well. i did not have to run around to get the connection. it took them 14 days to collect the documents. but that can be blamed on the guy who was out of station. he came to my place the next day he landed in the city. and the connection was installed and activated on the very next day! i am probably just scared of dealing with their support team. probably for the right reasons. i would find out tomorrow how good they are responding to problems related to slow internet speed! at least airtel guys would accept the speed shown by speedtest.net servers. bsnl i doubt would even bother.
no ..BSNL guys were quite helpful when i called them up complaining of low speeds. They said technician would come at 4 o clock and indeed they came at 4:30 ..told me they were checking the line somehwere ..checked the connection and went off without even asking for umm money for chai.
mmm. you did not say if they fixed your problem? i mean the problem is not with my line. the problem is with raw speed. speedtest.net starts decent at around 2-2.5mbps but crawls down to 1mbps by the time the test finishes.
