A lady has been calling me since I filed a complaint on pgportal. She gave up today. 3.2 mbps is very good speed as per the Broadband team.

BSNL guy finally arrived and got it fixed from the backend. Line speed is still 4000kbps. Connection speed is still 3.3-3.4mbps. f**k this shit.

Nope. Same guy who reduced it to fix pppoe going down issue. It was just pointless to argue anymore.

PPP down isn't indicative of line issues, I think.

More with port misconfiguration at the exchange.

But then again, I could be wrong.

that's the thing. they fucked up the one single thing that was good with my connection. i was able to cross 450kBps sometimes. not any more. not any more.
