This is not my own statement entirely.
Last Month in April They Did so.

And This is not the first time they are doing so.
First time they did so because airtel also did so for a month. This time Airtel and Reliance have confirmed increase in the their speeds effective from June 1st and this time they are not doing it for a month or so. Hence, we have no reason to believe that BSNL will not follow them this time too.
All we need to find out is : is this some scheme where you can transfer a few GBs at 512 kbps and after those GBs are exhausted, the speed gets back to 256.
I think BSNL guys might be able to answer this.
