instead of increasing my speeds decreased from 55kbs to 45kbps. Bsnl customer care tells it's not under their control, as it's all directly controlled by god!

Are you talking with the right people? Please contact the NIB officials directly on 0471 2576600. These guys maintain the network and hence, they will be able to provide you with quicker resolutions. They have been sorting out my troubles with BSNL BB since 2005.

I too have got no increase in speed on my UL1350. From yesterday I have been trying different numbers for the JTO of my exchange to the PGM office Bangalore. I get all sorts of assurances but no action. The reason why my speed has not increased from what I learnt from BSNL is that my broadband is connected to the NIB1 server and the speed cannot be increased there. BSNL is having a problem connecting some lines like mine to the NIB2 server. They are also unable to tell me when this problem would be sorted out

Thanks cool techie for the replyI am at Thrissur right now. I tried contacting the bb section there, but they were telling it will happen from Bangalore if it has to happen. They can't help.

The fact is that the speed shaping machinery is connected to the NIB II network. The subscribers who are still on the NIB I network will have to wait sometime before they are migrated to the new network.

Keep that number safe. Those guys are some of the bright and brilliant minds that I have come across in BSNL.

yesterday my download speed increased to 120 kbps for an hour and came back to 55, and the same thing happened today for around 10 minutes during noon ,they should do something about our plan, it really sucks

The BSNL sales dude , who came to my house today said that, this BB Home Combo ULF 1350 plan is having 2mbps UNLIMITED and no FUP for all the new customers. I applied for that. Looks like, he was trying to fool me, bcz its impossible to think that, BSNL can give 2mbps unlimited at 1350 . LOL! But I went for it. Lets see.

^^^ well its technically not impossible. Consider this.MTNL gives 1Mbps UL for 999A person can have 2mbps by taking two connections for 1998 So a single 2Mbps line should come in

when you combine 2 1mbps lines, you cannot actually use 2mbps on a single download through a single channel. it would however work fine on torrents and with a supported download manager which can use the two lines for two parts of a single file.
