BSNL Broadband: static IP does not ping from outer side

i m having a broad band connection with an static IP given by bsnlbut that IP is not pinging from outernetwork

modem type is G4

what firewall are you running? it is mostly a firewall blocking these ping requests..

How to do this as when i change the setting of firewall to disable it again enables the firewall automatically

presently only the firewall with modem is working
