Lol. Those pings are horrible. But, these can be fixed, and admin, it isn't necessary that you'd be getting the same pings.Also, you can complain till you don't get the desired speeds ! Speaking from experience

lol. dad said he is fine getting a connection in his name provided i keep both the connections. there you go i cannot afford to pay 5K per month for internet connectivity

Surrender airtel after you get bsnl working or opt for a cheaper plan in airtel so that you get to keep both lines.This is what I have been doing since 2008 as I need connectivity for my business. Have both BSNL & Airtel.

that is the problem. there is no cheap plan on airtel! even the 3GB plan costs around 800 rupees per month. also. the problem with airtel is huge for me personally. the best plan they have available in my area is the 80GB 4mbps. there is nothing better. so if i give up on the 150GB 4mbps plan in the coming days, i really would have no way to get it back in future.i can of course keep both the plans. that is a hard decision to make especially after i ****ed up the forum URL structure which has resulted in a major drop in traffic and as a result revenue.

i had like to know if there are plans with faster speeds than 4mbps with more than 100GB data transfer from what i see, they do not deliver 4mbps on their 4mbps plan. more like 3.5mbps which is fine going by trai regulations. airtel on the other hand deliver more like 4.5mbps on their 4mbps connections. also, airtel seem to have faster upload speeds 0.8mbps compared to 0.4/0.5mbps on bsnl connection. would find out when i get my connection though.

BSNL higher end plans are expensive than the corresponding Airtel plans. That's the main reason why I'm still with Airtel. The service in the last 7 years has also been good for me. Having said, I wouldn't have any issues with my BSNL exchange. If only they had better/cheaper plans than Airtel...
