Yes...ofcourse reliable Airtel & BSNL has shitty plans for middle class peoples. That's y we are forced to choose other ISP's which has 80% reliability but far better PLAN(s) than these ***holes.

Hey dude does FUP actually work with tikona?
One salesman will come tomorrow and check if reliance metro Ethernet is available in my area(chances are very less) and then if it isn't available then i have to go with tikona 4mbps 1499 plan which has 80 GB FUP so i want to ask if their FUP actually works?

I agree to reliability of BSNL BB. Been on it since Aug 2012. Not been down at all. However, the landline failed a couple of times, would say not in service. FUP is shitty, else reliability is great.

I switched to BSNL from tata communications four months ago. From 1st Oct 2012 till today, I have not faced any break in service. Foe me at least, BSNL is better than tata communications for broadband.
Hai,

You forgot to mention your distance from the exchange!

I live 4km away from the exchange and the connection is as good as shit.

i think i am around the same distance from my nearest exchange. connection is not as smooth as it was on airtel. but i can manage!

Thanks, i am going for tikona today

You might want to rethink that decision. Tikona has generally bad reviews on this forum.

Using it since 2008, hardly had any downtime for appx 1-2 hrs, that is the reliability of BSNL BB, however if u start facing any issues then the torture starts Nowadays they are improving the service atleast in HYD

I got it anyway because their plans are best for my usage and the guy who installed it, he gave me his personal number and said if i have a problem, i can call him anytime.
Now i can use it from tomorrow after all the formalities are completed
