Pretty much. We are effectively being migrated to prepaid without BSNL officially claiming that.

That depends on what happens when you terminate your service subscription. If they insist you have to pay the last months bill then they have stolen 1 months subscription amount

edit: If they do this for each plan change then 1 month subscription is lost per change.

Not sure if you got our point. It's not about the one month advance they take on plan change. Issue is that they have converted a postpaid plan into prepaid i.e. with advance rental each month.

If you have been migrated to prepaid plan then you may be receiving a bill stating so.

i have converted from adsl to fiber and fiber got activated on 20th oct 2023 and i have been billed for this nov 23 date 1month too .

is it a deposit for the fiber plan 449 or billing 449 for the current nov 2023 month ? no idea
if its deposit , my old adsl deposit is untouched 1045 . as they did say it would be adjusted , the deposit is the same , nothing added to it or reduced to it ,so if i pay now , this 449 will get added to deposit or its for current nov 23 month ..so no idea on this one too .

there is a offer -Bharat Fiber BB - Rs. 200/- Discount on BB FMC For First 6 Months-998412 - but only 70rs discounted , i calculated what if the discount based on only 10 days instead of 30 days for the oct month - it comes around 66.6 rs .
