BSNL Fiber Broadband new plans starting from 1 April 2024

Is there any offers or discounts for Ex-Service personnel?
 
@atom4u Yes. There is discount for Ex-Service Personnel, Government Employee and Senior Citizen.
My Current Plan is around Rs. 1,299 after Discount of Government Employee, It is around Rs. 1,100.00/-

Rs. 1,299 - Rs. 400(Discount) = Rs. 899 + 18% GST (Rs. 1,299) = Rs. 1,100 appx.

So, Overall it is much better than any other ISP Currently in my area.

Plan : Fiber Premium Plus 4000 GB ( Upto 225 MBPS till 6000 GB) idk why it is called 4000GB but it is giving 6TB FUP 😂 with speed of appx. 255 - 265 D/W (Download/Upload)

Website updated for MH but they're showing 449 plan as 6 month like before. I wanna move to that plan but it may take some more time for them to fix this.

I did try to change my plan on Friday but their portal wasn't updated and they said 449 plan appears to be for new customer only. I'll try asking BSNL tomorrow if they updated 449 plan or not.

This is one example of BSNL being a pain..

Ever since new plans have started, Upload speed on my connection has been reduced to 4Mbps, like I have used-up my FUP. But download speed is okay.
I am on Fiber Basic Plus, speed has increased from previous 60 Mbps to now 100 Mbps. Since this upgrade upload speeds have been significantly reduced.
On speedtest website Upload speed comes around 10 Mbps but while actually using (uploading files to GDrive, Posting a video on instagram, sharing something on WhatsApp) it's locked on 4 Mbps.

Initially I thought it's some maintenance problem and it may resolve on it's own in few days but today I lodged a complaint.
Has this happened to anyone else.

Ps : I am new to this forum, so, forgive for breaking any rule or mannerism
 
Not recently but it did happen happen some time ago. A complaint is necessary in such cases for resolution.
 
@sloj I made a complaint. They called today but I was not available so my mother talked with them.
She explained them the problem but then they said they can't fix it.
Like if bsnl can't fix bsnl problem then who can 😂
I think I have to visit Bsnl exchange Office, not so optimistic about the result btw 🤒.
Explaining them what is Download and Upload speed. Why it's different and how it also matters. Then maybe if they think my problem is worthy of there time then maybe they will do something. That also may work.

I remember the complaint was made on selfcare which was then forwarded to LCO because someone from their team called and I explained it to them. Took some days but the issue got fixed. Recently their was some maintenance on their side, due to which MAC authentication on PPPoE was failing and had to call LCO and was fixed instantly while on the call but caused a temporary speed drop on both up and down because they were not done with their work completely but that got fixed in a day or two.
Try calling the LCO and talk to their tech guy, explain that your upload speed is capped again. They may have to forward the complain to BSNL but that should get things done. If things still remain same then try to visit BSNL exchange.
