@tushardehra You will not face any port forwarding issue. BSNL is open NAT. Simply put ONT in bridge mode and use your own router to establish PPPoE connection. I'm able to forward ports perfectly on BSNL FTTH using the setup I just mentioned.
I will single-handedly try to get them to fix the latency issue as I have a lot of free time for the next few months. I managed to get them to drop latency from Shillong to Bangalore by 200ms back in Jan 2020 and it stuck with that. Which is good. Now it's around 70ms. It used to be 300ms.
