bsnl fibre worth it for gaming?

I am from Hissar and having BSNL FTTH.Now,the backend is not same for ftth and ADSL as far as I know.I have got the same confirmed from NIB team member.It is separate now.And for the ping....I am pleased to announce that I get 25-30 ms ping for Mumbai servers.Singapore is also great as far as I remember.I am in benglore at the moment.Will post direct results once I am back to home.
Also,I belong to Rakhi garhi....i.e, rural area and I am very happy with uptime as there have been 1 cut from last month that too for 5 minutes due to required OLT restart on LCO end due to DDOS Attack and firmware upgrade.I suggest keeping the router cool and disable few ports which are mentioned.
Specifically disable http,telenet and change remote management password and router administration password.
I wish you best experience with BSNL FTTH.

It's 849 plan.Costs 1000 with taxes.
I get full speed usually.Even SG servers were great before botnet attacks.Ping is not an issue till date.

the Ping is meh for me so far from the last 3 days, it used be inconsistent before too but not for whole day. The Amount of Packet Loss is too high for any server other than Google & FB, i believe it's routing because i have been using Speedify with 5GB allowance for a while now and specifically for these last few days connection never had any hiccups, only a few packets lost here and there when im connected to Speedify Network. Can anybody confirm why did the routing get so bad in these past few days ?

Ping to cloudflare is above 100 for me.. The routing is still abit messed up after botnet attack.

thnx for the wonderful reply bro i hope my routing is also good as jto is my friend i told him that i get 140 to 170 on bsnl broadband will it be same on fibre then he asked to share pic i did show him ping on battlefield 4 servers he said on fibre i will get less ping than this also can you tell me what is the whole procedure and wiring to the home?
In my case...I have an LCO who laid fiber till our bus stand.And by luck,my uncle had 300 meter of 2 pair fiber cable lying around as he shifted from fiber to wireless cow connection.I used that.They brought fiber after connecting it to 1 pair.They ise same fiber albeit another pair for cable tv in my village.Internet in served on dedicated fiber.As number of customers is low,I get great speeds.Also,ping is awesome.
There is a patcher box.It have the pairing of external fiber cable with the patchup cable used to connect in router/ONT.I got myself a shitty ONT by sharp vision.
It is great actually for the price paid.I got it for 1600 and tested it with local connection and it gives speeds up to 1gbps...Port limitation for GE port.
That's it.
Remember to change few security settings of ONT as soon as you receive it.
Download config file for backup purpose.
Place router all wall as it is designed to keep air flowing that way to maintain temperature.
