Brdr, you need to write it exactly as I wrote, taking care of the Camel case.
Then only would you be able to modify.

Hey man. Sorry to update so late. It was a busy day.

So yeah. I checked all the credentials multiple times again and they are all correct. I think the issue is something else. I also matched the settings i could identify in the BSNL-Alphion router to Airtel-Nokia router and still no dice.

This include changing the IP from 192.168.1.254 to 192.168.1.1, Enabling Ipv6 as well enabling TR-09(that seemed to make things worse so i rolled back on TR-09. I dont know if TR069 Daemon being enabled on the BSNL equates to enabling it in the Nokia). I also tried making the Admin user name and password the same but both routers doesn't allow changing usernames.

I am not sure what could be the issue now. Any recommendations?

Update: I just noticed that VoIP is enabled in the BSNL-Alphion and its in IPoE. Does that have anything to do with this?

I also contacted the local BSNL tech and got a screenshot of the username and password in some kind of app they use. Did this so as to not miss any updates they did with the credentials.

However i noticed something else. The image had a section called 'Customer OLT Parameters' and in it there were few details like TIP, OLT PORT, ONT MAC and PON PORT. The ONT MAC's last two digits are different from that of the router MAC(everything else is the same). Could this be something of note? Is ONT MAC same as the router MAC?
 
Set the OperatorID to 0000 first and then try modifying the MAC.
Do remember to revert it back to ALCL afterwards.
