BSNL FTTH ONT reboots on own

Plan : 599 (60Mbps, 3300GB)
Facing a weird issue where ONT reboots itself multiple times. Then I have to switch it off from the power supply and turn back on after some time. Told this to the LCO and he gave another power adapter for ONT suspecting it may have gone faulty. But with the new power adapter too, ONT reboots.

I got the connection in late Dec 2020. It's hardly 4 months since I (had to) bought that ONT from LCO. Costed me 2500 rupees for the same.

Has anyone faced such issue with BSNL FTTH ? Nay suggestions, solution ?

It’s an issue with the device or your optical power levels. Can be fixed only by LCO. BSNL nor its plan has any role

I had similar problem with an optilink ont when I connected to router with multiple devices. It used to reboot frequently. Would not reboot if I directly connected only single computer to it.

Only after I put the ont in bridge mode it became stable.

I guess something in the cpu or nat system was overload.

This reboot issue generally happens twice or thrice in a day and then it would work fine for the next 24 hrs (nearly). This cycle repeats. Sometimes the reboot occurs in just 2 hours. But mostly it follows the 24 hr cycle pattern.
The temperature of ONT (in the config page) is around 47 degree Celsius. Is that too high ? I don't think 47 is burning hot for ONTs or modems.

Under 50 C is normal !.

With a little DIY, I installed a cpu fan under the ONT. Now the temperature is 29°c. Peaks at 32°c. Till now, haven't encountered any issue of restart.
