Hello Experts,

Today, I got the BSNL Fiber connection. The software version is V1.0.4. I don't know whether this is the latest version. Does anyone have any idea about the performance? Also, it seems everything is locked. I can't see the PPPoE configuration, DNS configuration, etc. Any insights on these would be highly appreciated.

Device Type: RH821GWV-DG
Hardware Version: V2.0
Software Version: V1.0.4

with which u/n and password are you logging in

there is limited account which is written on the back

please do post the main page of the router that you are getting after logging in

If you can't see WAN/PPPoE config or it is greyed out, that means that you are using an user account. Usually for this company's ONU, the admin user name is "admin" and the password is "ONU@*last 4 digits of mac address*". For example if your mac address is fd:92:e2:12:b0:67 then the password will be "ONU@b067".

I had the single band version of this router and the performance was decent, enough for 4-5 devices connected simultaneously.

@rusalt Thank you. It is working, but in my case, the user name is "administrator".

As I was not happy with this ONT model provided by BSNL/service provider free of cost, I purchased Digisol XPON ONU (DG-GR6011) and working perfectly with my own router, switch and access point. I called the service provider and asked him to release the MAC, and it was so quick (10 minutes).

I'm sorry, I don't know much about networking but what do you mean by asked him to release MAC. As I'm having same problem not able to connect my own router
