Can I plug in GPON/EPON into an SFP Port on a network switch and get rid of ONT?

in my building microscan has installed switch which has input probably SFP GPON(as per person who installed at my house today), switch is of Cisco does any one want me to ask installation guy for home about this in detail. i want to do it but at a later stage in life

@JB700 I was just going through Alibaba and came across this product from V-Sol, V2801F SFP ONU stick. Same OEM (or maybe just a large scale distributor) for the Netlink/Syrotech devices. This is the ONU stick variant with MAC, so has a web UI to manage.

They said it costs about 20 USD per unit, supports EPON/GPON, and only bridge mode. I'm tempted to simply try it out. 😅

Is there any alternative cheap SFP module available for V2801F?
I am looking for my Netgear GS110TP switch. It has 2 ports. The expensive AGM731F is compatible with the switch. Please suggest a ONU/ONT SFP module for BSNL ftth connection at Coimbatore.
