BTW my iPhone X is supporting 3CA. It does not connect to 3CA all the time but keeps on fluctuating between NoCA 2CA and 3CA.
I have noticed that 3CA gives pathetic speeds in my area. This has been tested even on Google Pixel 2. The only time I have seen upwards of 60 Mbps speeds is at 4am in the morning.

And how about the speeds otherwise during day time ?

Check list of handsets. Carrier Aggregation (CA) is from 2CA to 6CA (Samsung Note) depending upon operator and region.

Many phones in this list don't support CA in real life

Which is the cheapest device which actually does CA here in India? And among which bands? Just pondering on the idea of if it makes sense to get a smart phone and tether it for better LTE speeds rather than buying a LTE-A router/hotspot (I am yet to find a model which does CA with the bands we have available here, suggestions are welcome)

Speeds vary between 1 Mbps to 20 Mbps. Wild fluctuations.

@varkey, honor play seems like a good option, it supports 3CA cat 16(1 Gbps down and 150 up) for 20k.
I am using lenovo z2 plus which supports 2CA on band 40(20+10 MHz) which I got for 11k but its discontinued now.

Also now that Android P stable is officially out. Can any one with Android P on Pixel 2 confirm if it supports 3CA on jio?

I got Samsung A8+ because it was mentioned supporting 3CA in list which I posted as well as GSMArena. However on this handset I never got speed above 12 Mbps. While on my earlier Moto Z Play I had seen speed up to 25 Mbps though that phone did not supported 3CA.
