Then its a good intelligent move...............but for that the movie producers could ask for money to that service as they are telecasting it from movies........


most of the comedies r from movies for which rights owned by sun tv so they not going to pay anything extra to the producers. when sun buys movie rights it can use the movie in anyway ie. it can distribute in internet, distribute thru cable, vcd/dvd or television.

Kalaignar tv is going to start three new channels for news, comedy etc.. So counter act them only sun suddenly started comedy channel. It is also using its strategy to bring new customers from rural side.. by making this channel only its DTH service.. Quick reaction from sun..

Yes u r right..they planned before 3 month and named the channel also. Once they shifted to Arivalaiam they will start the service here they dont have space.. That's why SUN TV started Before them urgently..

Before Other channels copy form Sun Tv. But know Sun Tv Copy form Newly arived channel Kalaigner TV..

I Saw the Dinakaran Advt (Bottom Right Corner in the Advt) , Comedy Thirai is MOD. It will be available for free only 3 months.

Hi Friends, Can any one tell what will be the cost of monthly subscripiton, if you take Tamil Basic pack + All the other pay channels available[without the south regional channels like telugu,kannada]. Beacuse they are confusing with lots of pack like Neptune,Jupiter etc

Just go through all the packs in the sun direct website. And you can make your choice. Every one has different choice of their taste. The main thing in their packing style is that you can easily omit hindi channels if you are not interested in viewing those.

based on the above add by SUN . seems that the new Comedy thirai is not a satellite chnl but a service in SUN DTH. no where in the add the word channel comes., it just says 24hrs sevai ( service)

and at the bottom it says 3 months Video on Demand Free.
so this is not a satellite chnl that can be made available in TS or other DTH& cable.
