So how does one install them :
I mean I know you have to install gapps package something. I did not find any info on any of the pages connected to CyanogenMod Installer.
This happened rather quickly. Something is definitely not right.
Device is now showing the boot animation. Has been going on for around a minute now. I guess I broke it
I guess you missed Post #30
Copy the ZIP to your internal SD, reboot to recovery and then select 'install ZIP from sdcard' and select the ZIP. That's it.
You said download something and install it. I do not get that part
BTW. I am trying to log in to CyanogenMod Account. It is not working on the phone.
It has Google Play. And Gmail and other Google apps.
Which version of Cyanogenmod got installed? I'll give you the link accordingly. You need to copy the ZIP file to your internal sdcard and then reboot to recovery (the power options should have an option to reboot to recovery when you tap 'reboot'). Once booted to recovery, you will have to select 'install zip from sdcard' and select the ZIP and then select 'Yes'. Then reboot (if you have booted before installing gapps, i suggest you to wipe cache and dalvik cache --under 'advanced' option).
