Settings > Lockscreen. You should explore the settings, especially the new ones added by CM. Don't be afraid of messing things up.

lol... CM should give you a host of customisation options. Explore all the settings (I guess its called ROM settings in CM) one by one to see what suits you.

I just need high performance and better battery life. Need to find way to disable the extra animations on homescreens.

High performance with brilliant battery life? Try 4.3 ROMs of RasbeanJelly or PSX for the Galaxy Nexus. They don't have much customizations though, but performance is epic.

After installation, I'm unable to find the CM Installer app on win8 ? it still shows as installed under Control Panel>Programs. Pressing Ctrl+Q and then searching for CM Installer or cyanogen gives me all web based results and a log file of last installation. :numbness:
I'm unable to find it on the App list either by pressing the "windows" key.

Are you on Windows 8.1? If yes, on start menu there would be an arrow pointing down, somewhere on the right hand side. Click that and try locating it. Or you can just type cm installer or cyanogen whatever it's called and it should show.

Nope it's not there. I ran the install file every time yesterday.
