what is download speed of the 2mbps plan ?? During Day time and during night time. Limited plan so then the contention ratio will be different i guess!

BSNL is using strange nomenclature in the new portals. Can you please post a screen shot of the " orders " page. Also check with the SDE and confirm your plan.

Its upto 2Mbps plan with a contention ratio of 1:25. In the evening i get in range of 600kbps and early morning, i get full 2Mbps while downloading with a IDM. I stay in BLR-JP Nagar.
Contention ratio is same for all plans as per BSNL website Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.

When I was using ULF 1100, I used to get 180 - 200 KBps consistently during day and night. There are reports that in certain areas where the speed drop to 120 KBps at night. But mostly you get 180 KBps depending up on your line condition.

I couldn't find anything called "Orders" in the portal. But I found the plan mentioned under 'Change your broadband plan'. Here's the screengrab:

I tried registering but it doesn't recognizes my cust. ID, which i picked up from phone Bill.can anyone tell is this selfcare portal is limited to specific region or its for all india ?I am from U.P. (East)

Yes. Its region specific. The above link is for people in western region. Try selfcare.ndc.bsnl.co.in

Some users had to call customer care to get their ID and password. You may try the same after waiting for a week or so.
