Does anyone have static noise in Airtel xstreme fibre Landline ?

Hi, I just got airtel Xstreme fibre and after a week now i connected a new beetel X91 Cordless phone into it. The call quality is average. I can hear static noise like we used to hear in copper cables in old bsnl lines. Is this usual or is there problem in my cordless phone.. Does anyone have the same experience ?
