Download Speed of Home UL 1350

HI,Since I am a "Download Freak" I want to know what download speed will i get with Home UL 1350and how much can i download in one day? I am not interested in maths so i try to take a guess work2MBS = you get 200/256 KBPS downloadso1MBPS = 128Kbps512KBPS = 64Kbps (Download speed)64Kbps x 60 seconds = 3.8 MB (3840) per minute3.8 MB X 60 mintues = 228 MBif i download all day i would download? 228 x 24 = 5472 ( 5.4GB )only if i get 64KBPS?

yup, assuming no network/speed/connection issues, you should get around 512 kbps (which is around 64 kBps) which is about 200 MB download per hour, which is approx 5 GB per day

thanks for reply. could someone confirm who is on Home UL 1350 plan does get 64KBPS down?I dont want to end up changing to a plan that doesnt say as advertised.

well, u r not gonna get exact 64KBps as download speed....u wud get speeds ranging from 55KBps to 60KBps depending upn ur line condition, ur distance from exchange and such things.anyways, if ur connection and speeds remain stable then u can easily hit around 5 GB in a day.

Hi blatons, you mentioned yurself as a "download Freak".So, I think you concern for the total reusable data of the total data transfered under your connection.Instead of going for UL1350 plan ( where you need to run your system 24/7) to download 5 GBi suggest you to go for H500 , here you get 2Mbps(=250KBps) and the unlimited duratin 0200-0800 = 6 hrs => if you schedule properly, you can download 5.4 GB (if you get full 250 kBps speed, *it is possible* )you can atleast get 200 KBps means you can download atleast 4.32GB perday. What you save is [850 + electricity charges+taxes on both]If you also browse extensively, then you can go for H1000 plan, where you can have day usage limit of 5 GB(per month) , which is verymuch sufficient..But the advantage with an unlimited plan is that , we can start downloads whenever you want.. , But if we compare costs,data b/n these plans ,what i feel is night unlimited plans leads the way.

u r taking of Download only 5 gb per day thats good ........................... i think thats not dad at all.......................... if uplaod is there whats u r uplaod speed in that plan ...........................
