Excitel Broadband Reviews

Got excitel installed few days back. There definitely seems to be some packet loss as in between speeds reduce for a few seconds.

Though overall speeds look pretty good.
 
Lol, so had first major downtime. Reached home around 7pm yesterday and figured that internet wasnt working. Called installation guys and they said it will only be fixed today post 10am. WTF!!

The WAN light isn't blinking which means their fiber has been cut lol :p

Update: So talked to installation guys again and they said old LCO has left and no new has been appointed. Lol, comedy goes on. Customer care sucks anyways. I guess money has gone down the drain.

sucks. my connection has been fairly active since that massive downtime few days ago.
 
Got fed up of calling so many different people, I emailed their director only lol. He reverted saying "Hi have forwarded it to the concerned team, will track it till resolution ."

Lets see if anything really happens. Net went down around 2pm yesterday according to the session data shown on their portal. So soon, it will be 24 hours.

@philip marlowe Any help you can provide?

I really try to understand why you call

1. LCO
2. Installation guy
3. Sales guy
4. etc.

instead of contacting us Directly to report the issue

We have Toll Free Number ( 1-800-419-0616 ) where we will register your query and try to get it resolved if it is technical issue. It's really better to go through this route, instead of calling everyone else.

We do tracking on all received complaints and we try to close them successfully. If required we are the ones to coordinate with Local Cable Operators whenever the issue is with the last mile.

Okay, so my net went down at 2:20pm (29th Nov). I call customer care at 6-7pm once I reach home and they assure me it will be fixed. Then 8pm, I call them again and they again assure me it will be done that day itself. Then out of curiosity, I call my LCO and he tells it will be fixed tomorrow 10am. Then, 9am (30th Dec) I again call your customer care and they again assure me it will be done within 1 hour. Then at 11am, I call my LCO and he tells me that he has quit. WTF!! Then I make several calls to the concerned people mentioned below

- Customer Care
- Sales guy who had contacted me for installation.
- West delhi Sales head

None was able to help or actually fix the issue. Then at 12pm, after getting frustrated, I emailed your Director. If you want, I can show you his email personally. He promised that he will get it fixed. Then suddenly I received 3-4 calls from customer care and at 4pm, my internet got fixed.

Okay, so what are you really trying to say? Did you even read my first post. In all your posts, I have only seen you defending and actually helping none. In my case also, you could have easily helped me by asking my ticket no etc, but no, you ignored that part but focused on why I called the LCO.
 
First of all I'm not here to defend anyone and wanted to say thanks for the feedback you provide.

For me it's much very important to understand the reasons for not calling Excitel helpdesk, because this can help in identifying and resolving internal failures in processes. Obviously I want your problem to be resolved also, have no doubt about this.

You can MSG me your TT ID + all communication that you had with our team so I can check why Excitel customer care gave false promises.
 
I would never suggest this service to anyone my net is down for more then 24 hrs the lco has no idea what's the issue is the Exitel customer service just says they have forward the complaint to the concerned team I have contacted reliance to restore my old connection cause I can't trust this isp now and will ask for my money back
 
Is anyone using it in rk puram area with ent cable net as the lco?
I want to try excitel but hesitant to try it since my last experience with cable internet (back in sify days) was not that good. Hopefully things might have changed now..
