Excitel Broadband Reviews

Thanks for the advice...... I will confirm about FUP before getting connection....but flyer does not says any...

I did receive the Excitel flyer about 20 days back.... but they are unable to provide connection.... moreover I feel the distance from Rajgarh to my house itself is one critical issue..... and in case of troubleshooting it will be one hell of a problem.... but in case of Y network... LCO is 2 houses down my lane...

Let us see how is their service, if it is not up to the mark... I will shift to Excitel later...

Reg. Citi Cable I do not think they have good unlimited plan....

If Y networks service is good then I think unlimited 512K@299, 1M@450, 2M@560 with double peering are commendable and not provided by any other Cable operator......

I have been speaking to Excitel for more than 1 and a half month now at all levels.... everytime they said next 5-7days or so...

Yesterday I spoke to Excitel representative in our area and he gives up..... says don't know how much time it will take....

So.. now going for Y network.... having similar plan and prices

Don't know anything about their service quality....

What I don't like about Y networks is that its website don't disclose their broadband plans or other details itself, which doesn't look good from a company point of view, though Y networks is a Class A Licencee ISP. I was thinking for getting Y networks too earlier but I waited for Excitel to launch and I am glad that I waited. In case you get Y networks do write a detailed review for it.

@ijsa I found the number of Sawhney Cables, Radhyepuri near Lal Mandir 9810628856. He said Excitel is available in H and J block. You can talk to him regarding F Block, he may bring its line to f block too as Janak Broadband is far away. He was specifically asking the address in F block.

Peering is basically saving bandwidth by using a cache server or user to user or p2p sharing as most of the internet users download or watch same contents in any country. You can get better idea from here Extreme Peering - The Ultimate Internet Acceleration Suite. Peering speeds are different than your plan speed and peering only works with those companies with which your ISP has agreement. For example excitel provides 20 Mbps for Youtube, torbox, Hotstar but actual plan is 5 Mbps, therefore, watching a movie on youtube will give you 20 mbps while on any other site it will be limited to 5 Mbps. I am using 5 Mbps unlimited plan for Rs. 759 with youtube, torbox, hotstar peering speed 20 Mbps. The speed is upto the mark, you can give it a try as its very cheap compared to any other ISP in Delhi or Ghaziabad. At the end it all depends how your Local person is maintaining the network and I will suggest you to try it once before running into any conclusions.

hello I m new here.I want to apply for excitel as MTNL is disgusting as hell,I just wanna whether their service is available in North Delhi or not? I tried calling them but it didnt worked.
My Address:- Pocket GH2,Baghban Apartment,Rohini Sector 28,Delhi 110042.

@Shagun Chandra Most probably Excitel is not present in Rohini Region as i know by my relatives in sec 7 & 8.
Still You should talk to your Local cable Operator to confirm.
Den Boom Broadband is present in rohini which is a good alternative and 10000% better then MTNL in service.
A little downtime for almost every day[told by my Cousin who opt Den boomband] but still 10000 times better then MTNL.
