Excitel Fiber Broadband Experience in Delhi NCR

Probably were upgrading OLT's or maybe had some issues 🤔
Did you notice any change in ping times/speed/power or anything?

Nah.. No change, it's like before only.

@havoc
Should I complain for my connection quality? Use of thin white fibre wire ("AIRTEL ADVANCE 1F FTTH DROP CABLES" is printed on wire), rubber tube instead of junction box, that looks pretty cheap!
When I got the connection I thought it's normal as all connections in my area have the same quality.

But now I think that's not the standard of the connection.

Yes, definitely. This is a cheap way of cabling "Jugaad"
Your connection might be instable in future + point of failures are high.
These are not their standards. You should definitely complaint about it with images attached.
My 2019 connection is best with dark fiber coming from JC outside my house to my roof where they have left 10-15 metres of loop in case of breakage & after that it comes via a small wire duct to the room where it is spliced to another indoor JC with patch cord going to my router. Very neat installation.
Raise a Complaint about it and see what they say.

Here you go

Don't mind the dust 😅

The tape covering the JC is 3 years old (I have opened the JC countless times since then and it is very dirty due to the tape glue + dust )
It's a lot of wire mess which I haven't figured out yet 😅

Router on the table above all that

😍
3 Years old connection, still so clean - that's called the standard of connection.

@havoc Did you get the ethernet LAN cable with router, as it's mentioned on the manual?
