so Amazon ses is having issues with microsoft email ids. if you are using hotmail/outlook/live ids, it might help if you can switch to some other domain for the time being.

Does Xenforo have a blog feature? How good is it?

Article thread type in 2.2 is their makeshift product for blogging for the time being. No dedicated component like on other platforms.

They do have pages but that's for forum admins.

So, in that case if we create a thread, do we have the feature to change the meta title and description of it?

not out of the box. there are some addons that allow custom title and description but they are aimed at admins and mods. why do you need such features in any case

but it was buggy when i last tried it. it seems that i can make it available to members as well. but i do not see the purpose lol.

I am not asking for it to be available to members, just wanted to know if in case a user creates a well researched and informative thread about a product, news or service, it may give that thread good chances of getting high rankings on Google. Basically the features and flexibility available to blogs.

i do plan to create a dedicated articles section once 2.2 is installed here for guides etc. so that they are all collected at a central place.

though it is still a mess because logically guides should be in sections associated with it. but it would be a mess to have a dedicated guide section in all individual topic sections.

and then there is a search forums feature that can also be used for this which would require additional word to mark guide threads for easy filtering.

would see what can be done once 2.2 is out.

You've to curate and optimize quality content for high rankings, just my two cents.

We already have a forum where we can discuss anything we want.
