folks with smartphones... can you test something for me?

open chrome on android or safari on ios.
open forum.
create a shortcut for the forum on your desktop using the browser's internal feature.
run that shortcut.

check these for me:
1. Icon gets the proper IBF logo.
2. You see a splash screen on running that icon.
3. The icon loads the forum in full screen mode.

cool. i ask because devices with different resolutions require different icon images and i have only integrated three. i break something when i add more

I thought that splash screen is native to Chrome. Safari on iOS uses the same format?

not sure. MDN only talks about Chrome so I guess it's Chrome only.

Splash screens
In Chrome 47 and later, a splash screen is displayed for a web application launched from a home screen. This splashscreen is auto-generated using properties in the web app manifest, specifically: name, background_color, and the icon in the icons array that is closest to 128dpi for the device.

AFAIK, it's native to Chrome on Android. Will see if there is something for iOS too.

not a big deal. i don't think i can even disable it for chrome.

When clicking on new posts , its showing only 5 posts by default. Any way to increase that number of posts shown?
