Ok.. Maybe something that Chrome has done? I tested by typing just a long single line & closed the window..and still part of the line was saved in the cache..

it saves draft every 10 seconds i believe.

you can remove it from here.

Ok. But has some setting changed recently related to this. Dont remember drafts getting saved (or atleast so frequently)

drafts usually disappear when the post is posted successfully. because of the issues on the forum, i guess they are sometimes left behind. server is behaving a bit better now... does not make sense though because this is the time when traffic actually starts increasing.

alright. forum is now running on a new database server. remains to be seen how much it would cost me per month and whether it works fine or not. :emoji_relieved:

are you using a browser app that preload linked images? like hover zoom?

looks like i would need to set up a cron job to convert imgur links to https. what a mess they have created for folks like me.
