Ok.... what I meant was watched threads.... notification would pop up in your alert but would not show in new posts.... could be due to the privacy profile of the member posting the reply.

Privacy is only for own visibility on the forum... User cannot hide their content from appearing on new posts section.

As designed - Ignore system

The ignore system only ignores threads 'started by' the user, not posts made by them. I'm hoping this isn't intentional (or can at least be over-ridden)? Also, threads started by the user are still viewable on the forum homepage 'last post' preview. :)

looks like ignored members bumping threads making them appear on new posts section is intended behavior.

it was latest activity...... but it is sorted out now.... I guess.... I see @Smh test post...

Turns out users can control if their content appears on latest activity. But new posts should show content from everyone.

I never use latest activity. But I have been missing posts in new posts link as I mentioned previously.

The only way I come to know that some posts are missing in new posts is when there is a thread I have posted in and it shows up in alerts section that someone has posted something in the thread but that thread does not show in new posts list.
