Most of you should see the Attach files button on your accounts now. Finally enabled it after 15 years of running this forum.

JPG and PNG are allowed. 5000kB file size. This should fulfill most requirements I assume. Do post here if something is amiss.

I just posted from Chrome on mobile. Worked. Maybe try clearing the site's data and check if it still happens?

yeah i have used the feature in chrome on my phone several times. haven't seen any issue. i did read about reports on issues on firefox on android on the xenforo forum.

Cleared cache and settings for this site, but no difference. Whenever I press the Attach Files button, the file browser starts to load but then gets hung. Then I have to force kill Chrome and start again.

this issue should logically appear on other sites as well. like twitter or facebook. i can only suggest checking out another variant of chrome like the beta or dev channel. or maybe an alternative browser like vivaldi. resetting chrome is another option to see if that fixes this issue. only if you are comfortable with it.

Tested on mobile.twitter.com and works fine. Tried the same on m.facebook.com and I get the same stuck loading issue. So as you said, it isn't specific to this site.

Is there any known bug that you are aware of for this issue?

the problem component seems to be the file manager being called by chrome. but mobile twitter and facebook are both likely to only support images and videos so different behavior on them is kind of confusing. i cannot think of anything that would fix this issue. one thing you can try is to clean up the default folder that is loaded by this component. that would very likely be the camera folder. try moving all the files in it to another folder temporarily and see if that fixes the issue.
