just use imgur lol. i would prefer to have eyes on the images that are hosted on this website.

Isn't there any plugin for Imgur uploads? I've gotten a bad habit of Ctrl+V all the time.

Until you set an upload limit for attachments, I would just paste anything and everything.

there was one. paid 35 dollars for it. it was banned by xenforo developers few days later coz of shitty code. it stopped working after a few weeks. and developer stopped responding. enabled attachments after that.

what i do not like is being dumped with the responsibility of handling tens of GBs of attachments (99% of which have no long term value) every time i have to find a new host or cloud storage. this is why i avoided enabling attachment here for 16 years. but i get it. majority of people access the forum on mobile these days so having attachments enabled it sort of essential. it would be great if people used it judiciously. xenforo does not really offer any real optimization service for images. and i do not want to rely on third party addons for this. so i have to keep upload settings at a pretty low level which should work fine for on-topic images like router page screenshots and similar stuff. if you are hitting the limits, just paste the image in Squoosh and upload the output image from there (default settings are pretty good). it should take care of 99% of the images. and it works great on mobile browsers as well.

Makes sense.

Just wondering, was there no provision to dispute that purchase for that plugin if the developer isn't responding?

P.s ..why not get a plugin coded, then resell it? Profit? I got a plugin specially developed for Payeezy payment gateway to support 3D secure payments, had my client pay $1k for the same, but it paid off in a longer run. I think at least get an estimate from some developer, we forum members can help you bear the cost for the same. Just a thought.
