depends upon where you are clicking. most links point to last unread post. i personally use
Recent Activity | India Broadband Forum
to access newer posts.

the other section is: Recent Posts | India Broadband Forum
threads you have accessed also point to last unread post. you can notice the links would have /unread at the end for threads you have visited in the past.
