I requested them for the same many times, but they simply refused saying that in this plan they can set this much rates only.

Just keep mailing to higher ups the sdo and people in cental zone office complaining that you never get the promised 2 mbps speed n the only solution is increasing the sync rates. I mailed to these mail ids and kept on calling the tel numbers of gm broadband Also keep on raising complaints on speed problem here http://203.94.244.173:7777/vcare/end_broadbandcomplaints.jspThe person who attends to them will either give in or give you a number of the right person to pursue your case . Just sound a bit technical and say it is not line related but needs resync of speed at your port level.Just be relentless n polite. dsl light went crazy at 11.30 am after some 10 min of continuous blinking, connection disconnected and back to 512 kbps ..

^ you fellas are lucky. IP keeps refreshing around 8:45 am till the speed resets back to normal, at which point it stops. Been this way for over a week now.
