Got blacklisted while Bridging

Almost everyone's ONU/ONT now states:

Connection Status

Registered, not authenticated.

Registered, not authenticated means there is no authentication enabled on the OLT. Thise wishing to use Bridge Mode, will still have to request Reset MAC for PPPoE. Alternatively copy the one on the Internet profile under WAN Info into the Router connected to the ONU/ONT.

@alap4m So the mac address being copied from the ont's back is not the real one?

My status shows Registered, Authenticated on the LCO provided ONT but I'm able to use a different ONT for bridge mode with my Mercusys Router.

Must be something else.

if your LCO authorizes your ONT in their OLT then you'll get authenticated status
it doesn't do anything dw, it's just for LCO, I had access to one of the Syrotech olt and they had the option to auth.
