Got new Airtel Xstream Fiber connection, what are the next steps?

In general what should I do next. Like change some settings in ONT for better speed or consistency. I received old ass Nokia ONT G2425G-A router. Is it any good?

Hi Brother @Rehan ahmad i below device and i have tried with the ONTUSER method like username as ONTUSER and password as "anyrandompassword" which is not working Password Invalid error and i have tried with another with encrypted password like below .... .. But i am facing error in login...

Go through all the comments first and then start the process.
Though I must mention that you risk sending your ONT into vegetative state if something goes wrong. So proceed with caution.

Unlocking is not going to do you any good. You are better off bridging and using your own device.

This device can handle 1Gbps on bridge. [*tested by me]
